Capt. Ricky Garza, owner of Lone Star Fishing Guide, continues to redefine the limits of Falcon Lake. After setting a landmark record in January 15, 2024 with a 62-pound blue catfish, Ricky has spent the last two years cementing his legacy. In December 6, 2025, he reclaimed the Catch and Release record (by length), and on Januray 3, 2026, he reached a new pinnacle: landing a staggering 75.8 Ib blue catfish. This latest feat officially places him in the prestigues "70s club" and proves why Lone Star Fishing Guide is the Premier name for big-game angling on Falcon Lake.
